Head Chef & Co-Founder Abraham Quesada

Abraham Quesada, or "Chef Q", has studied at the French Culinary Institute in New York and has also studied in Rome. He once hosted his own cable television show in New York city from 1989-'93 on Time Life Warner Cable in which he focused on food, fashion and music. Chef Q has has owned restaurants in New York city, Scottsdale AZ, and Miami's South Beach where he received a 24 point Zagat rating for his french restaurant and a 23 for service.

His love for asian foods from all parts of the Orient make for his latest venture, Pearl Restaurant, a French and Asian Bistro in the Golden Isles / Brunswick GA. His work at Pearl has won him accolades of awards such as, Best New Restaurant, Best Chef, Best Power Lunch, and Best Sushi by Elegant Island Living in 2006. Chef Q specializes in the freshest fish from around the world and only prime meats including Kobe beef.

Wine Connoisseur & Co-Founder Holly Black

Holly Black is an Accomplished Wine Connoisseur who received her Mastery of Wine Certificate from the Florida International University of Hospitality. Holly does extensive research on all kinds of wine and keeps Pearl's Wine List the favorite of all our visitors.

Pearls extensive Wine List, specifically designed by Holly to compliment the French & Asian cuisine, boasts a perfectly matched 48 bottle selection of red and white wines. Also featured on the list are 8 Japanese Sake's, 9 champagnes and 24 varietals by the glass. Even the beer offered is enhanced with a wide foreign selection.
